Box Score ORLANDO, FL (March 8, 2023) -- The King's College women's tennis team wrapped up their action in their annual spring training trip with a 9-0 loss to the University of Sioux Falls (SD). The Monarchs will return north with an overall record of 0-4.
 
Ashley Kenia and Hailey D'Amato fell in the No. 1 doubles to the Cougars by a score of 6-1, while Braelan Drollas and Payton Lloyd dropped their No. 2 doubles decision, 6-0.
 
In singles play, Kenia was downed by sets of 6-3 and 6-1 in No. 1 action to Osburn, while D'Amato dropped her 6-2 and 6-0 sets at No. 2 singles to Thinnsen. The No. 3 singles match saw Drollas fall, 6-0 and 6-1, to Rangel, and Lloyd dropped set so f 6-1 and 6-0 to Randt in the No. 4 singles contest. Emma Rooney rounded out the action for King's as she fell, 6-1 and 6-0, to Haler at No. 5 singles.
 
The Monarchs will open their 2023 schedule up north on Sunday, March 19 as they host Susquehanna University at 1:00 p.m. at Kirby Park.
