GLASSBORO, NJ (October 19, 2024) -- In their final tune up before the 2024 MAC Cross Country Championships in two weekends, the King's College women's cross country team competed in Rowan's Border Battle at DREAM Park.

On the 6,000-meter course and among a packed field of 259 runners,
Cecilia Chipriano paced the Monarchs as she crossed first in 25:17.4, while
Lindsey Eyer posted a season-best time of 27:56.0.
Mara Ryan finished next in a personal-best time of 28:59.4, and
Shelby Shepanski recorded a season-best time of 29:54.5.
Sarah Hartzell rounded out the squad in 37:08.7.

Johns Hopkins won the team title behind the individual top finishing performance from Adriana Catalano in 21:25.8.

The Monarchs will begin their final preparations for the 2024 MAC Championships on Saturday, November 2 hosted by Messiah University.
