NEWTOWN, PA (April 25, 2024) -- The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) office announced the 2024 MAC Freedom Pre-Championship Coaches Poll for men's golf on Tuesday morning. The King's College Monarchs tabbed fifth place out of eight teams with 25 points. 

Stevens is searching for their fourth straight championship as they took first place with 49 points and all seven first place votes. Arcadia, a 2023 runner-up, earned second place voting with 42 points. Delaware Valley had 31 points to take the third spot and DeSales tabbed fourth place with 31 points.

Lebanon Valley (19), Misericordia (15), and FDU-Florham (7) took the sixth, seventh, and eighth spots. 

JP Gilroy (Jr.), Jackson Grozelle (Jr.), Cameron Jones (Fy.), Alexander Ray (Jr.), and Michael Kaleta (Fy.) will compete for the Monarchs. This will be Grozelle, Jones, Ray, and Kaleta's first championship weekend. Gilroy is no newcomer as he had a 33^rd-place finish as a first year and tied for sixth place in 2023 to pick up All-MAC Freedom Honors. 

The MAC Freedom Championships is hosted by DeSales and will take place at the Olde Homstead Golf Club on April 27^th-28^th. A scheduled tee time for day one is set for 10:30 a.m.
