2024-25 King's College Men's Basketball Schedule
WILKES-BARRE, PA (July 11, 2024) -- With the conclusion of our Fall 2024 schedule releases, the King's College athletic department turns its attention to its 2024-25 winter slates. On Thursday afternoon, Head Coach J.P. Andrejko announced the men's basketball schedule ahead of his 24
th season in Wilkes-Barre. The Monarchs are prepped for their 25-game campaign with 13 match ups set for their home court in McGrane Gymnasium.
King's will begin its season with back-to-back home contests against Elizabethtown on Friday, Nov. 8 before hosting Penn State Hazleton on Nov. 12. After a weekend trip to Susquehanna for their annual tournament from Nov. 15 to Nov. 16, the Monarchs are then set up for a three-game home stand against Penn State Scranton on Nov. 20, Penn College on Nov. 23, and Lycoming on Nov. 25.
December will open with consecutive road tests at Centenary on Dec. 4 and up at Marywood on Dec. 7 before ending 2024 at home against cross-town rival Wilkes on Dec. 30.
After wrapping up their non-conference slate at the University of Scranton on Jan. 4, the Monarchs begin their Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) campaign on the road at FDU-Florham on Jan. 8.
The Monarchs will host Arcadia in their MAC Freedom home opener on Jan. 11 prior to two straight road battles at DeSales on Jan. 15 and Stevens on Jan. 18. The remaining January slate will feature home games with Delaware Valley on Jan. 22 and Misericordia on Jan. 25 and a trip out to Lebanon Valley on Jan. 29.
The month of February begins with a two-game home stand to open the second half of conference play against FDU-Florham on Feb. 1 and DeSales on Feb. 5. Their MAC Freedom match ups will conclude in the regular season at home against Stevens on Feb. 15 and Lebanon Valley on Feb. 18 while making their return trips to Arcadia on Feb. 8, Delaware Valley on Feb. 12, and Misericordia on Feb. 22.
The 2025 MAC Freedom tournament tips off with the semifinal match up on Wednesday, Feb. 26 with the champion set to be crowned on March 1 with an automatic bid to the 2025 NCAA Division III National Tournament on the line.
