Chris Patton picked up another accolade as he was recognized in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) weekly honor roll as the MAC Freedom Player of the Week.
Patton averaged 26.0 points per game in the first week of conference play, shooting 17-for-30 (56.6%) from the floor, 8-for-13 (61.5%) from three, and 10-for-11 (90.9%) from the free throw line, while adding 17 rebounds at 8.5 per game, four assists, and a steal. He started the week with 24 points on 9-for-15 (60%) shooting, including 4-for-6 (66.6%) from three, with eight rebounds, three assists, and a steal in the Monarchs 74-57 win at FDU-Florham on Wednesday. The senior then led all scorers in a 63-60 setback to Arcadia on Saturday with 28 points on 8-for-15 (53.3%) shooting, including 4-for-7 (57.1%) from three, with nine rebounds and an assist.
This marks the second time this season that Patton was recognized on the MAC weekly honor roll and the fourth for his career.
