NEWTOWN, PA (January 21, 2025) – On Tuesday morning, the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) recognized sophomore goaltender
Diego D'Alessandro as the MAC Defensive Player of the Week.
D'Alessandro made 85 saves for a .965 save percentage and 1.00 goals against average. He began the week with 20 saves in a 4-0 win over SUNY Morrisville for his first career shutout. On Friday, D'Alessandro made 32 saves in the 2-2 draw before thwarting another 33 shots in the 1-0 setback to Stevenson on Saturday.
This marks D'Alessandro's first MAC weekly honor of his career.
