NEWTOWN, PA (October 16, 2025) -- In its first season under new head coach Race Bennett, the King's College men's ice hockey team has earned a share of seventh place in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Coaches' Poll, as released by the conference Thursday morning. The Monarchs garnered 11 points in the poll, matching Misericordia.

Neumann claimed the top spot in the poll with 45 points and five first-place votes. Wilkes followed closely behind with 41 points and two first-place votes, while Stevenson rounded out the top three with 36 points and one first-place nod.

Alvernia landed right below Stevenson with 35 points, good for fourth place. Arcadia came in sixth with 28 points and Lebanon Valley collected 17 points for a sixth-place selection.Â

The Monarchs open their 2025-26 regular season with a MAC showdown against cross-town rival Wilkes, November 7. Puck drop from the Toyota SportsPlex in Wilkes-Barre is scheduled for 4:50 pm.
