GETTYSBURG, PA (October 18, 2025) — The King's College women's cross country team battled through a deep 300-runner field at the Aubrey Shenk Invitational, hosted by Gettysburg College on Saturday morning, finishing 23rd out of 33 scoring teams with 667 points.
Senior
Cecilia Chipriano led the Monarchs on Saturday, clocking in a time of 25:31.20 over the 6,000-meter course to place 135th overall.
First-year runner
Evelyn Sahd finished in 172nd place with a time of 26:23.20, while graduate student Katherine Smith crossed the line just behind her in 173rd at 26:23.20.
Junior
Mara Ryan and sophomore
Sarah Hartzell rounded out the scoring five for King's. Ryan placed 203rd with a time of 27:26.30, while Hartzell followed closely behind in 208th at 27:33.40.
King's women's cross country will return to competition on Saturday, November 1, at 11:00 AM for the MAC Championships, hosted by Delaware Valley University in Doylestown, PA.
