The Coaches: Mike Cebrosky is in his second season as the head coach of the Monarchs. Cebrosky led the team through their historic 2024 season, featuring a 10-2 overall record, perfect 9-0 mark in the MAC, the first outright MAC title in program history, and berth to the NCAA Division III Football Championships. He was named MAC Coach of the Year while also coaching a program-best 20 All-MAC honorees, highlighted by two-time MAC Offensive Player of the Year Russell Minor-Shaw, six D3football.com All-Region players, and Zach Barber as a D3football.com All-American. Ed Hottle is in his fifteenth season at the helm of Stevenson. He is the first and only head coach of the program, which started operations in 2011. In addition to coaching, Hottle also serves as the university's Assistant Director of Athletics. Under Hottle, the Mustangs won their first MAC title in 2016.

Looking at Stevenson: The  Mustangs enter Friday's contest with a perfect 4-0 record and fresh legs following the bye week. Stevenson has been successful on both sides of the ball, boasting the statistically-strongest offense (35.3 points per game) and defense (15.8 points allowed per game) in the MAC. Diving into the offensive stats, the Mustangs have scored a conference-leading 20 touchdowns with a whopping 15 of those coming from the run. The ground game is led by Louis Clouser, who has legged his way into the end zone a MAC-leading eight times this season and averages 106.5 rushing yards per game. Jordan Adams leads the Stevenson quarterback room with six touchdowns - four passing and two rushing - and averages 111.25 passing yards per game. The receiver corps is anchored by Seth Parker, who leads the conference with 29.0 average yards per catch. Dillon Johnson has made a team-high 18 receptions. The Mustangs will look to improve on third down, where they rank last in the MAC with a 28.3% conversion rate. Defensively, Stevenson leans heavily on Matthew Berry, who leads the team with 28 total tackles and an interception. Daryus Henderson leads the secondary with six pass break-ups.

Away Threads: The Monarchs will take to the turf sporting their red-on-red combination with their traditional gold helmets.

Captains This Friday: Jayon Hailey, Jaelin Mims and Brennan Robinson will represent the offense for the coin toss. Joining them at midfield will be defensive leader, Xander Murray

Single Digit Tough: The Monarchs award single digits, and now double digits to offensive linemen, based on merit and leadership and are retained throughout their time at King's. The 2025 roster returned two single-digit members from 2024 in Tyler Carey and Brenann Robinson and have added two so far in 2025. The Monarchs now have four Single Digit Tough players: Tyler Carey (3), Brennan Robinson (6), James Mangine (9), and Kaleb Beers (55).
