WILKES-BARRE, PA (March 31, 2025) -- On Monday afternoon, the King's College athletic department announced its latest coaching transition as second-year head coach Josh Hoff stepped down after the 2024-25 season.

In his two seasons at the helm of the Monarch women's ice hockey program, Hoff posted an overall record of 11-35-4, including a 7-19-3 mark in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC). Hoff led the Monarchs to a new single-season wins record in 2023-24 with five along with the program's first post-season berth that earned him MAC Coach of the Year accolades. He then topped that single-season record with their six wins in 2024-25 while setting team season records in goals, assists, points, power play goals, shots on goal, shots per game, goalie save percentage, and goals against average.

Individually, Hoff coached four All-MAC honorees, 19 MAC Academic Honor Roll recipients, a program-best 21 on the UCHC All-Academic Team, an Academic All-MAC honoree, and three College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® recipients.

King's will commence a national search for the program's next head coach ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.
