NEWTOWN, PA (March 6, 2026) -- The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) office concluded its unveiling of winter All-MAC teams on Friday morning, with King's College women's ice hockey goaltender Will McPherson tabbed as a 2025-26 All-MAC Women's Ice Hockey Honorable Mention.

The Honorable Mention nod marks the first all-conference accolade of McPherson's career. The netminder appeared in 15 contests for the Monarchs this season, making 13 starts in goal. McPherson faced a heavy workload all season, making a conference-high 660 saves in 737:19 of action to place third in the program record book for single season saves. His 44 saves per game set a new single-season program record.

The North Bay, Ontario native was a consistent and stabilizing presence in the King's net this season, turning aside 50 shots or more on six occasions and surpassing 60 saves in three contests. McPherson delivered a season-high 69-save performance against No. 14 Wilkes (11/8), turning in a .932 save percentage against the highest-scoring offense in the MAC.

Between the pipes, McPherson played a key role in the Monarchs' 3-2 victory over Stevenson (1/17), steadying the defensive unit with 53 saves including 21 during the final frame.

The sophomore goalie was named the MAC Defensive Player of the Week in late January after a pair of standout performances against Arcadia. McPherson finished with 63 saves in the series opener with the Knights (1/23), eclipsing the 500 career save mark in the process. The netminder delivered another stellar 62-save outing the next day (1/24) to help the Monarchs reach overtime and earn a point in the standings.

Wilkes' Haylee Bouchard took home the Offensive Player of the Year and overall Player of the Year awards. Mia Frisoni of Lebanon Valley won the Defensive Player of the Year, while Arcadia's Chloe Makinson was tabbed as the Rookie of the Year. Dave LaBaff of Wilkes rounded out the major awards with the Coach of the Year honor.
