NEWTOWN, PA (August 21, 2025) -- The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) office continued their Coaches' Preseason Poll release on Thursday afternoon as they unveiled the 2025 MAC Football Coaches' Preseason Poll. Coming off their historic 2024 campaign, the King's College football team tied for first in the poll with 76 total points and five out of the possible nine first-place votes.
The Monarchs tied with Delaware Valley for first with 76 as the Aggies claimed four of the remaining-first place votes. Both Eastern and Stevenson tied for third with 55 points as the Eagles received the final first-place vote, while Widener rounded out the top half of the vote getters with 53.
FDU-Florham finished sixth with 47 points, and Lebanon Valley placed seventh with 35 points. Misericordia was in eighth with 29 points, and Alvernia (14 points) and Albright (13 points) rounded out the 2025 MAC Coaches' Preseason Poll.
King's is slated for another strong campaign in 2025, making postseason appearances for the last three years. The roster returns All-MAC First Team running back
Brennan Robinson and Second Team honoree
Jayon Hailey along with
Jacob Mullery and
Kaleb Beers who also collected All-MAC recognition in 2024. Head Coach Mike Cebrosky enters his second season and is coming off a MAC Coach of the Year performance in 2024 as he is preparing this year's roster through their preseason camp.
The 2025 slate opens on Thursday, September 4 in the annual Mayor's Cup game with cross-town rival Wilkes University. Kick off is set for 7:00 p.m. at Schmidt Stadium in Edwardsville, Pa.
