WILKES-BARRE, PA (August 4, 2025) -- Among the Division III institutional nominees for the 2025 NCAA Woman of the Year honor was women's track and field senior
Victoria Zultevicz who earned one of the two King's College nominations for this year's award.
Since 1991, the NCAA Woman of the Year program has recognized graduating female student-athletes for excellence in academics, athletics, community service, and leadership throughout their college careers.
Zultevicz was a four-year member of both the King's women's indoor and outdoor track and field programs. She obtained her bachelor's degree in biochemistry and molecular biology with a minor in forensic science and graduated magna cum laude with a 3.99 cumulative GPA. The Shickshinny, Pa. native was named King's Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year and collected eight combined MAC Academic Honor Roll nods, two CSC Academic All-District recognitions, both an indoor and outdoor USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete accolade, and an outdoor Academic All-MAC honor. She was also named to the MAC Winter Sportsmanship Team in 2022 and the MAC Spring Sportsmanship Team in 2024.
In competition, Zultevicz finished with her name scattered around both the indoor and outdoor record books as a hurdler, pole vaulter, and multi student-athlete. She holds the school records in the indoor 60 meter hurdles, pole vault, and 4x200 meter relay and the outdoor 100 meter hurdles, pole vault, and heptathlon. Zultevicz collected medals at several MAC Championships, including silver in the indoor pentathlon once, outdoor heptathlon three times, and outdoor pole vault once; and bronze in the indoor pentathlon twice and outdoor 100 meter hurdles in 2025. She finished the 2025 MAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships as the third-highest individual point getter, leading the Monarchs to their best team finish in program history. Additionally, she was named MAC Field Athlete of the Week once in both the indoor and outdoor seasons and tabbed USTFCCCA All-Region honors for the indoor 60 meter hurdles and outdoor pole vault this past year as a senior.
Zultevicz continuously provided a clear example of what it means to be a King's student-athlete and college graduate. Outside of her athletic prowess, Zultevicz was an active member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), particularly with the annual Read Across America Day and the National Girls and Women in Sports Day (NGWSD) Clinic.
The Woman of the Year Selection Committee, made up of representatives from the NCAA membership, will choose the Top 30 honorees — 10 from each division — from the conference-level nominees. The Top 30 honorees will be announced in October. The selection committee will then determine the top three honorees in each division from the Top 30, and the nine finalists will be announced in November. From those nine finalists, the NCAA Committee on Women's Athletics will choose the 2025 NCAA Woman of the Year. The honorees will be celebrated at the Woman of the Year Award Ceremony at the NCAA Convention in Phoenix in January.
