YORK, PA (February 14, 2025) – The King's College women's swimming team opened day three of Middle Atlantic Conference Championships on Saturday at York College with some new personal bests this morning.

Makenzie Huffer continued to excel her dominance at the MAC championships with a personal best time in the 100-yard backstroke preliminaries at 1:07.72, 1.41 seconds faster than her previous time. Huffer placed 29th overall in the event.

Carla Hidalgo earned 13th overall in the 100-yard backstroke prelims with a personal best time of 1:03.86, .84 seconds quicker than her previous time. In the finals, Hidalgo posted a time of 1:04.91, claiming 16th place. 

The Monarchs return to the pool with more competitors and stronger competition Sunday morning at 9:30 AM on February 14th, as they'll compete in their last day of MAC Championships.
