PURCHASE, NY -- Cory Alcorn scored five goals and Abbe Grimes added four to power host Manhattanville College to a 17-13 victory over King's College in a Middle Atlantic Conference matchup Thursday in Purchase, NY.
With the win, Manhattanville improved to 6-6 overall and 2-2 in the MAC. King's, meanwhile, slipped to 2-7 and 1-2 in league play
Melissa Gates led King's with five goals while
Grace King added four goals with one assist.
Alicia Cox tallied three goals while Candace Russ scored once.
Reanna Lachner contributed with three assists.
Heather Kelly made 18 saves on the day for the Lady Monarchs.
King's will travel to face Elizabethtown College Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
