GLENSIDE – The King's women's lacrosse team (0-1, 0-1) dropped its season opening game 16-4 to Middle Atlantic Conference foe Arcadia University (1-0, 1-0) Wednesday in Glenside.

 

Melanie Mark scored four goals for Arcadia while Erin Cunningham and Jenni Groves netted three goals each.

 

Candice Russ led King's with two goals and one assist while Alicia Cox and Kira Shelly both scored one goal each. Chrissy Keenan made 11 saves in goal.

 

The next game for the Lady Monarchs will be on Thursday, March 12 as they take on Susquehanna University at McCarthy Stadium at the Robert L. Betzler Athletic Complex. Game-time is slated for 4:00 p.m.
