KING'S WOMEN'S LACROSSE TEAM FALLS TO GWYNEDD-MERCY
GWYNEDD VALLEY -- Colleen Dellostretto and Shannon Carrabba combined to score 11 goals to power the host Gwynedd-Mercy College women's lacrosse team to a 18-5 victory over King's College Tuesday in a non-conference matchup in Gwynedd Valley.
With the win, Gwynedd improved to 8-4 while King's fell to 0-10.
Dellostretto led the Griffins with six goals while adding two assists while Carrabba tallied five goals in the contest. Christie Pollack natted two goals with three assists while Victoria Geppert chipped in with two goals and two assists.
King's was led by Alicia Cox and Candice Russ who scored two goals each while Taylor Tyne added one score for the Lady Monarchs. In goal, Chrissy Keenan made two saves for King's.
The Griffins outshot King's 23-20 while holding a 25-19 lead in ground balls.
King's returns to action Thursday when the Lady Monarchs travel to face FDU-Florham at 4:00 p.m. in Madison, NJ
