KING'S WOMEN'S BASKETBALL HOSTS LYCOMING IN NON-CONFERENCE TILT THURSDAY, VIEW LIVESTATS
WILKES-BARRE – The King's College women's basketball team looks for their fourth straight win Tuesday when the Lady Monarchs host Lycoming College in non-league action in Scandlon Gymnasium. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m.

King's (5-3) enters the game riding a three-game win streak following a 62-44 win against Rutgers-Camden on Tuesday. Sophomore guard Celia Rader (Scranton, PA, Scranton Prep) leads the offense averaging 16.4 points and 3.9 rebounds, shooting 37.7 percent (20-53) from behind the arc and 74.4 percent (29-39) from the charity stripe. Rader has been nearly unstoppable the past four games, reaching double figures in each contest including a 24-point, 11 rebound performance in the win at Eastern University to start the current win streak. She has scored in double figures in six of King's eight games, ranking fifth in the conference in scoring during the stretch.
Junior Paige Carlin (Scotrun, PA, Pocono Mountain East) follows with 11.1 points and 5.1 rebounds form her small forward position. Sophomore guard Katlin Michaels (Berwick, PA, Berwick) adds 10.1 points and 5.0 rebounds, while fellow sophomore guard Lindsay Atchison (Green Village, NJ, Chatham) posts 9.3 points and a team-high 7.9 rebounds. Sophomore forward Molly Dahl (Garrison, NY, Walter Panas) remains a steady force in the paint for King's averaging 6.4 points and 6.9 rebounds in eight games. Junior point-guard Brittany Muscatell (Lambertville, NJ, Immaculata) controls the offense averaging 5.1 points and 22 total assists. The Lady Monarchs average 66.5 points, while yielding 69.4 points each contest.
Lycoming stands 4-4 overall on the year following a 66-65 overtime loss against Susquehanna University on Monday. Senior forward Kaitlyn Ober leads the Warriors' attack averaging 13.1 points and 6.8 rebound, shooting 51.2 percent (42-82) from the field. Sophomore guard Rachel Scheller follows with 10.4 points and 5.0 assists, shooting 15-for-34 (44.1 percent) from long range. Junior guard Chelsea Shearer adds 8.8 points and 2.1 rebounds, while senior forward Rebecca Spencer contributes 8.4 points and 4.0 rebounds. Lycoming averages 65.5 points per-game, while allowing 64.0 points each contest.
King's owns a 3-2 mark against the Warriors over the past four seasons, with Lycoming taking the last two contests, a 66-60 decision in Williamsport last season and a 57-54 victory in Wilkes-Barre in 2008-09.
King's continues their non-conference home stretch Saturday when Keystone College travels to Wilkes-Barre for a matchup scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in Scandlon Gymnasium.
