WOMEN'S LACROSSE HOST MARYWOOD IN HOME DEBUT, VIEW LIVE STATS
WILKES-BARRE - - The King's College women's lacrosse team host Marywood University in a non-conference home opener for the 2010 squad. The Lady Monarchs will play at 7:00 p.m. at McCarthy Stadium at the Robert L. Betzler Athletic complex.

King's enters the game with a 0-2 record after dropping a 20-1 decision to Muhlenberg College on Thursday. Juniors Sarah O'Doherty and Allison Gourniak both have one goal each. Gourniak also leads all defensive players with four ground balls. Freshman Andrea Alesso notched her first collegiate assist in the first game against SUNY Potsdam, while also grabbing two ground balls. Jade Zuniga and Meg Mundy have both added three ground balls on the defensive side of the field. Shannon Ellis, Stephanie Wilde, Krystina Villarreal and Nina Magan have all recorded two ground balls. In goal, junior Rebecca Abruzzese has a 20.00 GAA with 19 saves in 120 minutes.
The Marywood University women's lacrosse team has a 3-2 overall record after picking up a 25-7 decision over Neumann University on Tuesday. Taylor McKeown tops the squad with 28 points on 25 goals and three assists. Allie Sodl follows with 24 points on 21 goals and three assists, while leading the team defensively with 25 ground balls ... Kelly Kuzickiadds 14 points on 11 goals and three assists. Alexis Willey contributes with 11 points on three goals and eight assists. In goal, Katie Sullian has a 11.40 goals against average with 66 saves in 300:00 minutes.
