WOMEN'S LACROSSE FALLS ON ROAD TO EASTERN
ST. DAVID'S -- Grace Griffith scored five goals and dished out six assists to power host Eastern University to a 17-1 victory over King's College in a Middle Atlantic Conference women's lacrosse matchup in St. David's.
With the win, Eastern improved to 7-6 overall and 5-2 in conference play while King's slipped to 0-11 and 0-7.
Melissa D'Aniello scored the lone goal for King's in the second half.
Eastern outshot King's 31-6 and held a 23-16 advantage in ground balls.
King's will return to the field Tuesday with a 4:00 p.m. home matchup against FDU-Florham at McCarthy Stadium.
