KING'S WOMEN'S LAXERS DOWNED BY ARCADIA, 18-10
WILKES-BARRE -- Kreena Patel scored five goals to power the Arcadia University women's lacrosse team to an 18-10 victory over host King's College in a Middle Atlantic Conference matchup Thursday night at McCarthy Stadium.
With the win, Arcadia improved to 4-9 overall and 3-7 in the MAC while King's fell to 0-13 and 0-8 in league games.
Chelsea Manes and Krystina Villareal both tallied three goals and an assist to lead the Lady Monarch offense. Allison Gourniak netted two goals while Melissa D'Aniello contributed one goal and one assist. Shannon Ellis also scored once for King's. Andrea Alesso chipped in with one assist. Rebecca Abruzzse posted six saves in goal.
Steph Holguin and Caitlin added four goals each for Arcadia. Evelyn Ciaburri posted three saves for Arcadia.
