WILKES-BARRE -- King's College sophomore Tim Carroll fell in the semi-final round and was eliminated in the Middle Atlantic Conference Men's Tennis Championships Sunday at Kirby Park.
Carroll, who won two matches on Saturday, was the lone King's player to advance into Sunday's semi-finals.
Once there, however, Carroll fell to top-seeded eventual champion Mike Capozzi of Manhattanville by a 6-1, 6-1 margin in the number-two flight final. Carroll was the only player in the flight to win a game against Capozzi, who defeated Alex Beattie of Lycoming 6-0, 6-0 in the championship match.
Carroll finished the year with a 13-9 singles mark.
