WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College football team closes out its Middle Atlantic Conference slate on Saturday when the Monarchs travel to Annville to take on Lebanon Valley College at Arnold Field at 1:00 p.m.
King's is 1-7 overall and have a 1-6 mark in the MAC, while the Flying Dutchmen are 6-3 overall and a 4-3 conference record.

ABOUT THE SERIES:
This is the 12th meeting between the two teams splitting the series 6-6. The Dutchmen have had the better end of the series of late winning four straight. King's last win over Lebanon Valley came in 2006 when the Monarchs earned a 10-0 win.
THE COACHES:
Monarch mentor Jeff Knarr is in his second season of rebuilding the program at King's and owns a 2-16 career record. Lebanon Valley coach Jim Monos enters his 19th season at the helm holding a 79-100-2 record.
LAST WEEK:
A week ago the Monarchs dropped its sixth straight game with a 17-3 loss to FDU-Florham, while Lebanon Valley out-dueled Wilkes to gain a 42-35 victory.
KING'S ON OFFENSE: MULTIPLE-I
King's is averaging 236.9 yards of total offense per-game. The Monarchs have averaged 162 passing yards and 74.9 rushing yards. At quarterback, freshman
Bryant Klein made his second career start last week against FDU-Florham and is expected to get the start against LVC. Klein finished the game 11-of-18 for 96 yards and one interception before being relieved by senior
Joe Kirchon. Kirchon passed for 106 yards completing 7-of-10 passes and one interception.
Junior tailback
Eric Ofcharsky leads the team with 270 rushing yards on 79 carries and two touchdowns while adding 10 catches out of the backfield for 63 yards, after gaining 50 yards against the Devils. Freshman tailback
Kyle McGrath has 224 yards on 52 attempts and has caught five passes for 31 yards. Senior tailback
Matt Spencer contributes 165 yards on 42 carries. Senior fullback
Jordan Haddock has rushed for 110 yards on 20 carries while catching 21 passes for 124 yards.
Senior
Jay Torres leads all receivers with 33 catches for 503 yards and four touchdowns. Torres pulled down six passes for 86 yards last week against FDU. Torres currently ranks eighth in the MAC in all-purpose yards with 799 an average of 99.9 yards per game. Senior tight end Glen Ford adds 18 receptions for 168 yards and one score while sophomore split end
Chris Greene has contributed 16 receptions for 143 yards.
Mike Lloyd is the fifth highest scorer among kickers in the MAC with 30 points on 7-of-8 field goals and 9-of-11 PATs.
LEBANON VALLEY ON OFFENSE: MULTIPLE
The Dutchmen offense is averaging 34.7 points per game behind and average of 236.9 yards through the air and 193.9 on the ground. Colt Zarilla leads the offense from under center completing 130-of -230 passes for 1,998 yards with 20 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. His 222.0 yards per game is the second highest average in the MAC.
Running back Ben Guiles leads not only the team, but the MAC in rushing with 974 yards on 153 carries and 14 touchdowns. Guiles has also caught 13 passes for 225 yards and three touchdowns. Blair Ransom has rushed 60 times for 277 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Conrad Heisey has chipped in 163 yard on 34 carries. Tim Picerno is Lebanon Valley's leading receiver with 48 grabs for 809 yards and seven touchdowns.
Joey Miller has grabbed 22 balls for 312 yards and four scores. Senior tight end Matt Mankiewicz has contributed 278 yards on 19 catches and four touchdowns.
KING'S ON DEFENSE: MULTIPLE 3-4
King's defense has yielded an average of 390.2 total yards per-game, including 161.9 rushing yards and 246.7 passing yards each contest. The Monarchs have forced four turnovers on the season. Junior inside linebacker
Ryan Cordingly top the squad with 58 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and a sack. His 7.2 tackles per game rank seventh in the MAC. Fellow junior linebacker

Jim McHugh adds 43 tackles with an interception and five pass breaks. Junior defensive end
Jake Lehnowsky has posted 29 tackles with 8.5 tackles for loss totalling 41 yards and 3.5 sacks while junior cornerback

Jon Koslop has made 26 stops.

Matt Henry has made 22 stops with 2.5 tackles for loss and a sack. Freshman defensive end made 10 stops against FDU to move him to 21 tackles for the year with one tackle for loss.
LEBANON VALLEY ON DEFENSE: 3-4
The Dutchmen defense enters the game allowing 364.4 yards of total offense per-game, including 188.4 rushing yards and 176.0 passing yards per-contest. Lebanon Valley has forced 12 opponent turnovers.
Senior defensive end Cory Homer has 86 tackles with 11.5 tackles for loss, three sacks and a forced fumble. Senior linebacker Jason Gigous has 54 tackles with one tackle for loss, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. Sophomore nose guard Kevin Smith has chipped in 52 stops with 3.5 tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks. Senior linebacker Clay Chaney has 47 tackles with 2.5 tackles for loss and two pass break ups. Junior cornerback Nate Kauffman has 44 tackles, six pass break ups, and a fumble recovery.
Senior cornerback Jerome Duncan has mace 41 tackles with 5.5 tackles for loss and two pass break ups. Sophomore corner Ryan Meeley has contributed 34 tackles, five pass break ups and a pair of interceptions.

NEXT WEEK:
The King's College vs. Bethany College football game, which was canceled on September 10 due to flooding in Northeastern PA, has officially been rescheduled. The Monarchs will travel to Bethany, WV on November 19 to complete the two-year agreement between King's and Bethany as part of the MAC vs. PAC Football Challenge, where members of the Middle Atlantic Conference square off against members of the President's Athletic Conference. Bethany is currently 4-4 heading into its game with Saint Vincent on Saturday.
