KING'S WOMEN'S SWIMMERS GARNER 115-87 TRIUMPH OVER MT. ST. MARY'S

FULL RESULTS

NEWBURGH, NY -- Kim Brino won two events and was part of a winning relay squad to lead the King's College women's swim team to a 115-87 victory over host Mt. St. Mary's College Saturday in Newburgh, NY.

With the win, King's improved to 3-1 on the year while Mt. St. Mary's slipped to 3-1.

Kim Brino touched first in the 200-freestyle with a 2:10.19 and also won the 100 butterfly at 1:06.23.
King's 400 medley relay team of Brino, Erin McLin, Patricia Manning, and Shannon Johnson won with a time of 4:31.58.

Caroline Fitch won the 1000-freestyle with a time of 12:04.82;
McLin captured the 50-freestyle with a 27.72; while Manning won the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:21.06.


Johnson was second in the 200-freestyle relay at 2:12.50; Chrissy O'Loughlin was second in the 100-butterfly with a 1:11.14; while Caroline Fitch was second in the 100-freestyle at 1:01.22.

The Lady Monarch 400-freestyle relay team of Amanda Casey, Kathleen Kerr, O'Loughlin, and Fitch were victorious with a time of 4:19.44.

King's will next travel to Dallas to face Misericordia University in a 1:00 p.m. contest.
