LADY MONARCH SWIMMERS IMPROVE TO 4-1 WITH WIN OVER MSM

WILKES-BARRE — The host King's College women's swimming team picked up its fourth victory of the season as the Lady Monarchs posted a 113-89 triumph over Mt. St. Mary's College (NY) Saturday in Scandlon Gymnasium.
With the win, King's improved to 4-1 on the year while Mt. St. Mary's fell to 1-1.
Caroline Fitch won the 1000-freestyle with a time of 11:51.77 and the 200-individual medley at 2:31.71.
Macawley Brown captured the 50-freestyle by touching in at 26.70 as well as the 200-butterfly with a 2:34.77.
Patricia Manning won the 200-backstroke with a 2:24.36 and the 200-breaststroke at 2:36.60.
Erin McLin was victorious in the 100-freestyle at 58.57.
Kimmie Brino was a winner in the 500-freestyle by finishing at 5:41.80
King's 400-medley relay team of McLin, Manning, Brino, and
Hailey Moorehead were victorious with a time of 4:27.74.
