King's Womens Laxers Drop Freedom Conference Match to Eastern
St. David's, Pa.-- The King's College women's lacrosse team dropped a 17-14 decision to Eastern Saturday afternoon in Freedom Conference play.
King's offense was paced by six points by
Chelsea Manes on five goals and one assist on seven shots.
Krystina Villarreal chipped in three goals and on assist for four points, while
Amanda Harney found the back of the net three times.
Courtney Reinhold scored five goals and one assist for six points to lead Eastern. Allie Fultz also scored six points on four goals and a pair of helpers. Kendall Rood tallied five points on two goals and three assists.
Megan Withrow took the loss in net for the Monarchs making 14 saves. Kristy Getsay made seven saves to pick up the wins for the Eagles.
The Lady Monarchs return to action on Tuesday when they step out of the Freedom Conference to host Lycoming at 4:00 p.m.
