KING'S WOMEN'S LAXERS CLOSE OUT SEASON WITH LOSS TO FIRST-PLACE ARCADIA

WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College women's lacrosse team saw its season come to and end with a 18-5 loss to Freedom Conference front-runner Arcadia University Tuesday at McCarthy Stadium.

With the win Arcadia improved to 15-1 overall and 5-0 in the Freedom Conference while King's ended its injury-riddled season at 3-10 and 1-5 in league games.

Dawn Faranetta led the Scarlet Knights with five goals and one assist while Haylee Molloy followed with four goals and one assist. Jenna Crothers dished out seven assist and scored once while Jordyn Dunacusky made 11 saves in goal for Arcadia.

wrapped up her career with 64 points on 54 goals and 10 assists. Ormrod, King's third senior, finishes her career with 31 points on 24 goals and seven assists afte rhaving played on defense for the majority of her career.
