KING'S WOMEN EDGED BY REGIS, 5-4
ORLANDO, FL -- The King's College women's tennis won two of three doubles matches but were only able to capture two-of six singles contests as the Lady Monarchs dropped a razor thin 5-4 decision to Regis College Tuesday in Orlando.
With the win Regis improved to 7-4 while King's slipped to 1-5.
Emily Fernandez was a 6-3, 6-0 winner at number-one singles while Thea Seasock was a 6-2, 6-3 victor in the sixth slot. In doubles, Fernandez tamed with Natalie Coffee for a 9-8 (8-6) triumph at number-one while Julia Keppel and Alyssa Santarelli were 8-1 victors in the third flight.
