KING'S WOMEN'S TENNIS DROPS 6-3 DECISION TO DESALES

CENTER VALLEY -- The King's College women's tennis team wrapped up its MAC Freedom Conference schedule on Saturday with a 6-3 loss to host DeSales University in Center Valley.

With the loss King's fell to 5-11 overall and 2-4 in league matches. DeSales improved to 11-4 and 4-2.

King's freshman standout Emily Fernandez posted a 6-1, 6-2 victory at number-one doubles to improve to 16-4 on the year.

Alyssa Santarelli earned King's other singles triumph with a 6-6, 6-1 decision in the fifth flight.  In doubles, Emily Kabalka and Martina Gale teamed for an 8-6 victory in the third flight. 

King's closes out its season Sunday with a 1:00 PM home matchup against Moravian College at Kirby Park.
