Last Time Out: The King's College men's basketball team outscored host Manhattanville College 43-30 in the second half but couldn't overcome a first-half deficit as the Monarchs dropped a Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) contest 80-65 in the final road conference trip to Manhattanville.
King's (2-12, 0-3 MAC Freedom) outshot its hosts on Wednesday evening, and each team finished with 22 made field goals, but the Valiants benefitted from 40 free throw attempts while going 75 percent from the charity stripe which proved to be the difference.
Turnovers were also problematic for the Monarchs on Wednesday, as King's gave the ball away 32 times which led to 29 points off turnovers in the contest. The turnovers also led to break outs for the Valiants (7-7, 1-2 MAC Freedom), who posted a 22-6 edge in fast break points.
Noah Tanner finished with a team-high 16 points, scoring 14 in the second half, as he was 5-of-10 from the floor including making all five of his shots from the charity stripe. Freshman
JJ Glinsky came off the bench in the second half to play 18 of the 20 minutes, scoring all 14 of his points in the closing period, going 3-of-6 from the floor and 7-of-7 from the line.
Andrew Hudak also posted a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds, his second double-double of the season and the fourth game this season with 10 or more boards.
Joe Lonardi added five points and nine rebounds for King's, which out-rebounded its hosts 48-42 on the contest. King's held MAC Freedom leading scorer Sean Smith to just 10 points, as he was 1-of-12 from the floor and 0-of-8 from deep.
A Look At The Monarchs (2-12, 0-3 MAC Freedom):

- King's comes into the game Saturday with the MAC Freedom's fourth-best scoring defense, allowing teams to post 74.9 points per game.
- The Monarchs are third in the MAC Freedom in total rebounding, posting 38.1 boards per game behind just Eastern (41.6) and Wilkes (39.6). The 12.1 offensive rebounds per game is the most in the MAC Freedom.
