Women's Indoor Track & Filed Competes at Cornell Greg Page Relays

ITHACA, NY (December 3, 2022) -- It was a strong start to the 2022-23 indoor track and field season as the King's College Monarchs saw solid performances from several of its competitors on Saturday afternoon at the Greg Page Relays.

On the Track

60-Meter Dash

Juliet Brady finished fifth in her heat as she posted a time of 8.55 seconds in the preliminary heats of the women's 60-meter dash.

60-Meter Hurdles

A pair of Monarchs competed in the event as Victoria Zultevicz finished in 10.39 seconds, while Giavanna Innamorati made her collegiate debut with a time of 10.52 seconds in the preliminary heats of the event.

300-Meter Run

Brady and Innamorati appeared in their second events of the meet as Brady crossed in 46.39 seconds to finish 50th out of 75 runners, while Innamorati recorded a time of 48.65 seconds.

1,000-Meter Run

Hannah Mulcahy was the lone Monarch in the event as she made her collegiate debut with a time of 4:04.60.
 

In the Field

Long Jump

Madelynn Perfilio led three King's competitors in the event in her collegiate debut as she recorded a mark of 4.30 meters on both her second and third attempts. Gabriella Conforti posted a distance of 4.29 meters on her third try, while Victoria Zultevicz came in with a distance of 4.20 meters on her third attempt.

Women's High Jump

Madison Armitage was the lone King's competitor in the event as she finished with a height of 1.35 meters.

Women's Triple Jump

Gabriella Conforti finished 11th overall in the women's triple jump as she posted a mark of 10.36 meters on her second attempt.

Weight Throw

A trio of Monarchs competed in the women's weight throw, led by Anna Bellucci with a mark of 12.53 meters on her second throw. She was joined by Adele Hollander who posted a mark of 11.63 meters on her first attempt, while Katelyn Shoemaker made her collegiate debut with a toss of 10.28 meters on her first throw.

Shot Put

A pair of Monarchs competed in the women's shot put, led by Hollander who finished sixth overall, posting a mark of 11.63 meters on her first attempt, while Shoemaker posted a mark of 9.44 meters on her third attempt.

King's returns to action in the new year, heading to the Moravian Invitational in Bethlehem, PA on January, 21.
