NEWTOWN, PA (Nov. 27, 2023) - - The King's College women's ice hockey team received its first Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) weekly honor roll recognition of the 2023-24 season as junior goalkeeper Syd Dahl has been named MAC Defensive Player of the Week.

Dahl saved a total of 29 shots in the Monarch's game against Wilkes University on Nov. 22 and allowed only 3 goals. She tallied 18 saves in the second period alone and now has a season save percentage of .914 in 420 minutes of play. 

This is Dahl's first MAC weekly honor roll recognition of both the season and her career. She also earned the Monarchs' first United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) weekly honor roll nomination of the season last week when she was named Goaltender of the Week on Nov. 20.
