SELINSGROVE, PA (December 8, 2023) -- On the opening day of Susquehanna University's Early Season Multi & Invitational, the junior duo of Travis Lane and Victoria Zultevicz each finished in the top-10 of their respective events, with Lane concluding the pentathlon tomorrow in Selinsgrove, Pa.
 
Women's Pentathlon
Victoria Zultevicz finished 10th with 2,190 points after the first five events in the women's pentathlon. In the 60-meter hurdles, Zultevicz finished in 11.87 seconds as she placed fourth in her heat, while she recorded a mark of 1.30 meters in the high jump. The junior then posted a toss of 7.45 meters in the shot put before placing third in the long jump  with a personal-best mark of 4.94 meters on her third attempt. Zultevicz rounded out the events as she finished in 2:49.21 in the 800-meter run.
 
Men's Heptathlon
Travis Lane finished the first four events with 2,317 points and is currently in 6th place heading into Saturday's events. He began the meet with a time of 7.46 seconds in the 60-meter dash, finishing sixth overall and fourth in his heat before recording a mark of 5.68 meters on his third attempt in the long jump. In the shot put, Lane placed second overall with a toss of 11.23 meters on his first throw before finishing the evening with a height of 1.66 meters in the high jump.
