Owen Foytack set a new indoor program record in the 3,000 meter run, while
Andrew Novrocki and
Carnell Kemp each won an event to highlight a strong outing for the King's men's indoor track and field team at Susquehanna's River Hawk Invitational on Saturday.

On the Track
60 Meter Dash
Jordan Rife narrowly missed the finals of the 60 meter dash as he finished ninth overall in 7.40 seconds.
Ameen Jabbar was the next Monarch to cross in a personal best time of 7.62 seconds, and he was followed by
John Babinsky in 8.26 seconds.

200 Meter Dash
Jordan Rife had another strong showing in the event, placing seventh overall and first in his heat in 24.54 seconds, while
James Holzschuh cracked the top 20 to finish 19
th in 26.21 seconds.
John Babinsky also ran a strong race as he posted a time of 27.82 seconds.

400 Meter Dash
Andrew Novrocki won the 400 meter dash in 51.42 seconds, beating out the second-place finisher from Susquehanna by 0.21 seconds.

800 Meter Run
Tyler Petty took fourth, both overall and in his heat, in the event in 2:06.10.

3,000 Meter Run
Owen Foytack won the event with a program-record time of 9:04.79, while
Eric Johnson crossed in a personal best time of 10:17.97.

60 Meter Hurdles
In the 60 meter hurdles,
Josh Malone was the first finisher out of a finals spot, placing ninth in 9.52 seconds, while
Travis Lane posted a time of 9.96 seconds.

4x400 Meter Relay
The King's team of
Josh Malone,
Travis Lane,
Tyler Petty, and
Andrew Novrocki finished third overall in 3:40.19.

In the Field
High Jump
In the high jump,
Jordan Rife placed fifth as he cleared a height of 1.77 meters.

Long Jump
The duo of
Travis Lane and
Ameen Jabbar finished back-to-back in the long jump, with Lane recording a mark of 5.59 meters on his second attempt, while Jabbar posted a jump of 5.38 meters on his second try.
James Holzschuh also competed in the event with a distance of 5.28 meters on his third jump.

Shot Put
Carnell Kemp claimed the top mark in the event, recording a toss of 14.37 meters on his sixth and final throw, and
Jacob Martinez recorded a top-10 finish with an eighth-place mark of 12.34 meters on his fourth try.
Jet Li Tang posted a toss of 10.60 meters on his first throw, while
Ryan Dalton rounded out the Monarch throwers in the event with a mark of 8.46 meters on his second attempt.

Both
Carnell Kemp and
Jet Li Tang posted top-10 finishes in the event as Kemp placed fifth with a throw of 12.95 meters on his third attempt, while Tang finished seventh with a mark of 12.44 meters on his fourth toss.
