WILKES-BARRE, PA (November 26, 2024) -- Last week, the College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced this year's 2024 Academic All-District® Teams. Among this year's honorees were five from the King's College women's soccer team in seniors
Raina Adelman and
Cady McKean and juniors
Anya Chervak,
Megan Thompson, and
Jenna Waldbillig.
Adelman earns her first CSC honor for her career as the senior appeared in 17 games with 16 starts, adding an assist off 17 shots. McKean finishes her career with her third CSC Academic All-District® nod to go along with a pair of All-MAC Freedom Honorable Mention nods as the defender was instrumental in anchoring the King's defense while adding a goal off three shots. Chervak tabs her first recognition in her career as the junior appeared in 17 games with eight points on four goals off 14 shots. Thompson also picks up her first career accolade from the organization as she played in 18 games while recording five points on a goal and three assists off 19 shots. Waldbillig earns her second honor from CSC as the junior scored three goals for six points on 15 shots in 2024.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
