Andrew Novrocki and
Owen Foytack each set new indoor program records in their respective events, while two posted new personal bests as the King's College men's indoor track and field team competed at the Big Apple Invitational at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Saturday.

On the Track
60 Meter Dash
Jordan Rife placed 12
th overall in the field of 62 as he posted a time of 7.29 seconds, while
Jacob Mullery finished 20
th in 7.35 seconds.

400 Meter Dash
Andrew Novrocki placed second overall in a new program record time of 49.12 seconds, just .06 seconds behind the top finisher from Division I Long Island University and beating the previous record of 50.40 seconds set by
Mitch Forgash in 2019.
Travis Lane also competed in the event as he posted a time of 53.78 seconds.

800 Meter Run
Tyler Petty recorded a top-10 finish, placing eighth overall and third among Division III competitors in 1:58.24, while
Owen Foytack finished 19
th in 2:00.60.

Mile
Owen Foytack finished in the top 10, placing seventh out of 65 runners and topping his section with a new program record time of 4:23.74, topping his previous time of 4:27.09 set at the Bison Open and Multi on January 27.

Shot Put
Carnell Kemp was the top finisher for King's, finishing 18
th overall with a throw of 13.59 meters on his second attempt.
Jacob Martinez posted a personal best toss of 12.58 meters on his first throw, while
Jet Li Tang recorded a mark of 10.28 meters on his first throw.

Weight Throw
Jet Li Tang had a great event, posting a new personal best throw of 13.31 meters on his first try, while
Carnell Kemp recorded a mark of 12.82 meters on his second attempt.

King's will be back in action next weekend as they are set to compete in Cornell University's Marc Deneault Invitational in Ithaca, N.Y.
