2023-24 King's College Women's Outdoor Track & Field Schedule
WILKES-BARRE, PA (March 12, 2024) -- After an exciting finish to the 2023-24 indoor slate, the King's College men's and women's outdoor track and field teams set their sights on the upcoming 2024 outdoor schedule as released by Head Coach Mike Kolinovsky on Tuesday afternoon. The Monarchs are scheduled to appear in 10 meets this season, including their annual Monarch Open, to fight for a qualifying mark for the 2024 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships in late May.
King's will open their 2024 campaign at West Chester's Purple & Gold Invitational next Saturday, March 23, at the John A. Farrell Stadium for their lone meet in the month of March.
A busy April begins with a quick trip up the mountain for their first event at the Anderson Outdoor Athletic Complex in the Misericorida Invitational on Friday, April 5 before turning around to compete in the Millersville Metrics at Chryst Field at Biemesderfer Stadium on April 6. The following weekend, King's is slated to compete in the River Hawk Multi & Invitational at Susquehanna's Amos Alonzo Staff Field from April 11 to 13 with competitors also set for a day trip to the Bison Outdoor Classic in Lewisburg, Pa. on April 13.
The final two weekends of the regular season will feature their second journey to Misericordia for their Twilight Meet on Friday, April 19, the first of three meets in Chester, Pa. for the Widener Invitational on April 20, and the annual Monarch Open on Saturday, April 27 at the Betzler Outdoor Track.
The 2024 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Outdoor Track and Field Championships will see the Monarchs return to Chester and the George A. Hansell Track from May 2 to 4 before returning nine days later for Widener's Last Chance Meet on Monday, May 13.
This year's NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships will be held in Myrtle Beach, SC at the Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium from May 23 to 25 as King's will look to earn their first National Qualifier since 2021.
