MILLERSVILLE, PA (April 6, 2024) -- A great opening weekend for the King's College outdoor track and field teams wrapped up on Saturday afternoon on day two of the Millersville Metrics.
Andrew Novrocki set a new program record in the 200 meter dash to win the event to highlight the days events, while five Monarchs earned podium finishes in their respective events.

On the Track
100 Meter Dash
Abigail Springer led the Monarchs as she finished fourth in her heat in 13.29 seconds, while
Juliet Brady recorded a time of 13.63 seconds.
Sophia Hahn rounded out the trio in the event as she crossed in 13.96 seconds.

200 Meter Dash
Andrew Novrocki won the men's 200 meter dash in a new program record of 22.34 seconds, edging out Alvernia's Anthony Downs by .02 seconds. The new record-time edged out the previous mark of 22.38 seconds set by Emmanuel Edoukou at the 2019 MAC Championships.

Abigail Springer was the top finisher in a packed event for King's, finishing in 27.58 seconds, while
Juliet Brady posted a time of 27.91 seconds.
Ava Butcher was next to place in 28.36 seconds, followed by
Laura Dainauski in 28.49 seconds.
Sophia Hahn rounded out the squad for the Monarchs in 29.07 seconds. Division II East Stroudsburg's Destiny Thompson won the event in 25.68 seconds.

400 Meter Dash
Andrew Novrocki finished second overall, posting a time of 49.79 seconds, while
Cody Miller won his heat in 58.23 seconds. Division II East Stroudsburg's Tyler Boone won the event in 49.00 seconds.

Laura Dainauski was the top King's finisher, posting a time of 1:04.41, while
Ava Butcher crossed in 1:04.89. Host Millersville's Aubrey Sydnor won the event in 59.23 seconds.

800 Meter Run
Owen Foytack had a podium finish in the event, placing seventh in 2:01.38. Elizabethtown's Brandon Baxter won the event in 1:57.87.

1,500 Meter Run
Owen Foytack took second in the event, finishing in 4:04.67. Elizabethtown's Brian Solly claimed the top spot in 4:04.08.

High Jump
Madison Armitage finished second overall in the high jump, clearing a height of 1.55 meters.

King's will return to action next week, beginning with the River Hawk Multi and Invitational hosted by Susquehanna. Action begins Thursday, April 11 in Selinsgrove.
