Delaney Hilferty and
Travis Lane competed for the King's College indoor track and field teams on day one of the Bison Open & Multi hosted by Bucknell University.

Shot Put
Delaney Hilferty finished 11
th out of 23 throwers in the women's shot put with a mark of 11.28 meters on her first throw. Millersville's Sarah Hessler won the event with a toss of 12.99 meters.

Multi
Travis Lane wrapped up the first four events in the heptathlon with 2,227 points. Lane opened the heptathlon with a time of 7.48 seconds in the 60-meter dash before recording a jump of 5.50 meters on his first attempt in the long jump. He then finished ninth in the shot put with a throw of 10.88 meters on his third try before concluding the first day's events as he cleared a height of 1.63 meters in the high jump. Arcadia's Jey Brown leads the heptathlon after the first day with 2,843 points.

The Monarchs will return to Lewisburg tomorrow to take on day two of the Bison Open & Multi, while the remainder of the team is set to compete in the PLEX Shootout hosted by Alvernia University.
