NEWTOWN, PA (October 14, 2025) -- Following his breakout performance in the season-opening Marywood tri-meet, King's College men's swimmer Connor Scheckner was named the MAC Men's Swimmer of the Week, the conference office announced on Tuesday.
 
In his first collegiate meet, the first-year won all three individual events he competed in as the Monarchs split the tri-meet, defeating Marywood 133-105.
 
Scheckner opened the day with a win in the 50 backstroke, touching in 25.32. He captured first in the 100 backstroke with a time of 54.50. Closing his individual appearances, Scheckner clocked a 1:08.27 to claim victory in the 200 medley.
 
The Woolwich, NJ native capped his impressive debut by anchoring the Monarchs' team to victory in the 200 free relay.
 
King's returns to the pool for a road meet at Lebanon Valley, Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
