NEWTOWN, PA (October 15, 2025) -- The King's College women's ice hockey team will look to turn some heads this season under first-year head coach Quinn La Rock. The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Coaches' Poll placed the Monarchs in eighth place with nine points, as released by the conference on Wednesday morning.

Wilkes University was tabbed as the projected first-place finisher with 49 points and all seven first-place votes. Lebanon Valley claimed the second spot, garnering 41 points. Arcadia rounded out the top three with 38 points.

Alvernia earned 32 points and was picked to finish in fourth place this year. Neumann collected 20 points to secure fourth place, Stevenson came in sixth place with 19 points and Hood's 16 points placed them in seventh.

The 2025-26 regular season gets underway with the first leg of a two-game series at Buffalo State on October 31 at 12:00 p.m. The Monarchs open MAC play at the Revolution Ice Centre on November 7, hosting cross-town rival and projected first-place finisher Wilkes. Puck drop against the Colonels is slated for 7:00 p.m.
