Women’s Lacrosse Releases 2026 Schedule

WILKES-BARRE, PA (December 19, 2025) -- Following the conclusion of the 2025 Fall semester, the King's College women's lacrosse team and Head Coach Katy Higinbothom announced their 2026 season campaign for the upcoming spring on Friday afternoon.
 
The Monarchs kick off the season with a non-conference match on the road against Ramapo College on February 21. The team will host the first of seven home contests at McCarthy Stadium on February 25 in a non-conference matchup against Juniata College.
 
King's remains at McCarthy Stadium to take on Elmira College on February 28 before hitting the road for three non-conference games at Marywood University, Hood College and Methodist University. The Monarchs return home on March 14, as the team faces off against cross-town rival Wilkes University.
 
The last non-conference home game of the season is scheduled for March 18, as King's welcomes Gwynedd Mercy University to town. The team concludes the non-conference slate at Centenary University (New Jersey) on March 25.
 
The Monarchs open Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom play on the road on April 1, taking on defending conference champions Stevens. They travel to DeSales University for another MAC Freedom battle on April 8.
 
The team returns to McCarthy Stadium for their conference home opener on April 11 against FDU-Florham before hitting the road once again for a matchup with Arcadia University on April 15.
 
King's plays host to Lebanon Valley College on April 18 and travel to Misericordia University for their final road game of the regular season on April 21.
 
The Monarchs conclude the 2026 regular season at home on April 25, facing off against Delaware Valley.
 
The 2026 MAC Freedom Championships begin with a pair of semifinal matchups on Wednesday, April 29, and will culminate with the championship game on Saturday, May 2 with an automatic bid for the 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championships on the line.
