Gorski and Sampson-Glass Show Strong Performances at Alvernia

READING, PA (December 6, 2025) – The King's College men's indoor track and field team competed at the Alvernia University Rust Buster invitational on Saturday afternoon.

In the track events Alek Gorski ran a time of 52.31 to finish third overall in the 400-meter dash, while teammate Cody Miller placed eighth with a personal best time of 57.96.

In the 60-meter sprint, Josh Malone earned fourth in his heat at 7.60. Gorski continued his dominance by claiming fourth out of 29 runners in the 200-meter dash, crossing the line in 23.95 to wrap up the day.

In the field events, Miller placed second in the high jump at 1.90m while Robert Santos received third, jumping a height of 1.70m.

Myles Sampson-Glass won the triple jump at 13.57 and finished in third in the long jump at 6.05m. Daniel Mattey and Joseph Schneider placed eighth and ninth respectively in the shot put, as Mattey threw for 11.53m while Schneider threw for 10.94m.

In the weight throw, Brady Rutkoski earned fifth with a toss of 11.83m while teammate Daniel Mattey claimed sixth throwing for 11.40m.

The Monarchs return to action on January 17, where they will compete at the Susquehanna Invitational hosted by Susquehanna University at the Robert Estill I. Field House.
