NEWTOWN, PA (December 9, 2025) -- After leading the Monarchs to a pair of victories last week, King's College men's swimmer Connor Scheckner was named the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Men's Swimmer of the Week, the conference office announced on Tuesday morning.
 
This marks the second time Scheckner has been tabbed for the award, following his selection on October 14.
 
The first year kicked things off by capturing four event victories in the Monarchs' 149-31 win over Gallaudet University on Friday afternoon.
 
Scheckner opened Friday's meet by posting a 25.15 in the first leg of the 200 medley relay, with the squad of Chase Kubis, Stefan Lakoseljac and Chris Dutko keeping the pace to secure a first-place finish. The Woolwich, NJ native recorded a pair of MAC Championship-qualifying times in the 200 free (1:50.18) and 500 free (5:08.63); winning both events in the process.
 
In his third individual appearance of the meet, he clocked a time of 55.64 in the 100 free to take home his fourth victory of the day.
 
Scheckner played another large role in Saturday's tri-meet split at Lycoming College, adding a pair of wins in the 200 IM (1:59.66) and 100 back (55.26) to cap an impressive week and seal the Monarchs' 122-52 victory over the Warriors.
 
King's returns to the pool in the new year, hosting St. Joseph's University Long Island at the Scandlon Natatorium on Saturday, January 10. The first event is scheduled to get underway at 1:00 p.m.
