COLLEGEVILLE, PA (February 8, 2025) --
Kival Clarke and
Jordan Jones made their mark on program history on Saturday as the pair set new indoor program records in the jumping pits, while
Andrew Novrocki and
Owen Foytack won their respective events to lead the action for the King's College men's indoor track and field team at Ursinus' Frank Colden Invitational.

On the Track
60 Meter Dash
In the preliminary heats,
Jacob Mullery qualified for a spot in the finals as he placed eighth in 7.25 seconds, while
Brandon Auguste crossed in 7.31 seconds.
Jordan Jones ran a time of 7.59 seconds, while
Myles Sampson-Glass finished in 7.78 seconds. Delaware State's Evan Knox was the top finisher in the preliminary heats in 7.09 seconds.

In the finals,
Jacob Mullery finished seventh as he improved on his qualifying time with a finish in 7.20 seconds. Evan Knox maintained his top spot and hung on to win the event in 7.01 seconds.

200 Meter Dash
Jacob Mullery was the top finisher for King's as he ran a time of 23.66 seconds to finish 10
th overall, while
Josh Malone placed next with a time of 25.29 seconds.
James Holzschuh rounded out the trio in 25.66 seconds. Victor Cruz from Gwynedd Mercy won the event in 22.73 seconds.

400 Meter Dash
Andrew Novrocki won the event in a time of 50.52 seconds, while
Alek Gorski placed third in a personal best time of 52.98 seconds.

800 Meter Run
Owen Foytack won the race in 1:57.51, while
Tyler Petty also finished in the top 10, taking ninth in 2:05.97.

Mile
Preston Klem finished 12
th out of 45 runners in 4:41.25, while
Joseph Rossi recorded a time of 4:51.80.
Logan Taylor rounded out the King's trio in 5:08.51. Jackson Warfel posted the top time in 4:22.32.

60 Meter Hurdles
Josh Malone was the lone Monarch in the event as he qualified for the finals heat with a personal best time of 9.42 seconds. Eastern's Daniel Franklin had the top qualifying time of 8.69 seconds.

In the finals,
Josh Malone was just shy of his preliminary time as he crossed in 9.44 seconds. Ian Hopkins of Eastern won the finals heat in 8.59 seconds.

4x400 Meter Relay
The King's team of
Alek Gorski,
Owen Foytack,
Preston Klem, and
Andrew Novrocki won the event in 3:32.69.

In the Field
High Jump
Philliph Oden finished in the top 10, taking ninth with a height of 1.55 meters. Eastern's Keyon Jones had the top mark of 1.80 meters.

Long Jump
Jordan Jones won the long jump with an indoor program-record mark of 6.78 meters, topping the previous mark of 6.60 meters by Matthew Nelson at the 2019 MAC Indoor Championships. Kival Clark finished eighth with a jump of 6.22 meters, and
Philliph Oden was next to finish as he recorded a personal best mark of 5.86 meters.

Pole Vault
Nick Scalzo finished the event with a height of 3.35 meters. Delaware State's Peter Kamanu won the pole vault with a mark of 4.55 meters.

Triple Jump
Kival Clarke made his collegiate debut in the event as he took fifth with a new indoor program record mark of 12.97 meters, topping the previous mark of 12.50 meters by Sean Doherty at the 2016 MAC Indoor Championships. Jordan Earl of Delaware State was the top finisher with a jump of 13.24 meters.

Shot Put
Brady Rutkoski was the top finisher with a mark of 10.69 meters, and
Joseph Schneider finished with a toss of 10.61 meters.
Gian Ovalles recorded a throw of 10.61 meters, and
Daniel Mattey posted a mark of 10.60 meters. Delaware State's Christopher Johnson won the shot put with a mark of 15.60 meters.

Weight Throw
Carnell Kemp took ninth in the event with a mark of 13.66 meters on his third throw, while
Brady Rutkoski finished with a mark of 10.44 meters on his third toss.
Joseph Schneider rounded out the Monarch throwers in the events with a toss of 9.28 meters on his second try. Widener's Isaac Almoney won the event with a mark of 17.19 meters.

King's is set for a busy weekend ahead as they are set to send student-athletes to the D3 Elite Meet hosted by Nazareth on Friday, February 14 and individuals to both the D3 Elite Meet and the Susquehanna Invitational in Selinsgrove, Pa. on Saturday, February 15.
