CHESTER, PA (March 28, 2025) -- The King's College outdoor track and field program competed in day one of the Danny Curran Invitational hosted by Widener University on Friday afternoon.

On the Track
5,000 Meter Run
Joseph Rossi led the Monarchs in the event and crossed in a personal best time of 16:33.48, while
Logan Taylor posted a time of 19:32.20. Joshua Cason of Rowan won the event with a time of 14:30.66.

In the Field
Triple Jump
Myles Sampson-Glass continued his strong efforts in the outdoor season as he finished 16
th overall out of 26 jumpers with a mark of 12.60 meters, while
Kival Clarke recorded a jump of 12.39 meters. Wilmington's Donte Dockery was the top finisher with a mark of 15.37 meters.

Discus
Carnell Kemp recorded a mark of 41.46 meters to lead King's. Andrew Mott won the men's event with a throw of 55.57 meters.

Delaney Hilferty placed 12
th out of 28 throwers in the event with a throw of 35.20 meters, while
Katey Shoemaker finished 17
th with a toss of 33.05 meters.
Caitlin Kirk rounded out the trio with a mark of 31.98 meters. Swarthmore claimed the top two spots, led by Tate Garcia with a mark of 40.48 meters.

Shot Put
Gian Ovalles finished with a throw of 11.80 meters. York's Andrew Mott was the top finisher with a mark of 16.84 meters.

On the women's side,
Sophia Lukowski took 15
th in the field of 61 with a throw of 10.76 meters, while
Caitlin Kirk placed 16
th with a mark of 10.73 meters.
Delaney Hilferty was next to finish for the Monarchs with a toss of 10.12 meters. Eastern's Savana Dodd led the field with a throw of 11.92 meters.
