Brandy Varner earned a spot on the podium in the women's shot put to lead the King's College indoor track and field team on day one of the AARTFC Regional Championships hosted by Ithaca College.

On the Track
60 Meter Hurdles
Victoria Zultevicz crossed in 9.51 seconds. Ithaca took the top two spots in the event behind Rachel Larson's preliminary-best time of 8.67 seconds.

In the Field
Pole Vault
Victoria Zultevicz finished the meet with a height of 3.17 meters to place 13
th overall. The host Ithaca's Erin Eastwood was the top finisher with a mark of 3.62 meters.

Long Jump
Jordan Jones recorded a mark of 6.13 meters on his second attempt of the day. PSU Behrend's Brandon Konieczki won the event with a jump of 7.16 meters.

Shot Put
Brandy Varner took fourth overall to earn a spot on the podium with a mark of 12.81 meters on her sixth and final throw, just 0.02 meters shy of her personal best. Ithaca's Lily Seyfert was the top finisher with a mark of 13.44 meters.
