WILKES-BARRE, PA (June 10, 2025) -- The Szalkowski era begins this fall as the King's College field hockey team and Head Coach Kirby Szalkowski released their 2025 schedule on Tuesday afternoon. The Monarchs are set for their 18-game slate with six contests scheduled for their home turf at McCarthy Stadium.

The Monarchs open the season with a home scrimmage against Elmira on August 22 before hosting Drew in their regular-season opener on August 29 at 7:00 p.m. at McCarthy Stadium. King's then sets out for a five-game road stretch with stops at Cedar Crest on September 3, Immaculata on September 6, Wilkes on September 10, Penn State Harrisburg on September 13, and the University of Scranton on September 16.

The squad then returns home to host Neumann on September 19 before heading out for back-to-back trips to Susquehanna on September 24 and Marywood on September 27. The month of October begins with a home-turf contest against Lycoming on October 1 before wrapping up their non-conference slate on the road at Albright on October 8.

Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play begins at McCarthy Stadium against FDU-Florham on October 10 before making their first conference journeys to Misericordia on October 15 and Stevens on October 18. The Monarchs return home to play Delaware Valley on October 22 and DeSales on October 25 before concluding the 2025 regular season on the road at Arcadia on October 29 and Lebanon Valley on November 1.

The 2025 MAC Freedom Tournament is set for the semifinal match up on November 5 with the 2025 MAC Freedom Champion crowned on Saturday, November 8 with an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Field Hockey Championships on the line.
