SELINSGROVE, PA/UNIVERSITY PARK, PA (January 17, 2025) --
Owen Foytack showed an impressive performance this afternoon at the Penn State Nittany Lion Challenge while the rest of the King's College men's track and field team competed at the River Hawk Invite hosted by Susquehanna University.

Nittany Lion Challenge
Foytack finished second overall in his heat of 12 runners from Division I and Division II schools, making him the only Division III runner to compete in the event. He broke his own previous school record in the 3k with a staggering time of 8:34.85 - 15 seconds better than his original.Â

River Hawk Invite
In the field events at Susquehanna University,
Jordan Jones finished tenth overall in the long jump with a leap of 6.02m,
Robert Santos placed ninth in the high jump at 1.78m, and
Kival Clarke earned fifth in the triple jump at 12.84m.
Brady Rutkowski claimed 22nd in the weight throw with a toss of 11.80m while Joseph Schneider and
Daniel Mattey placed 25th and 30th respectively with throws of 11.29m and 10.82m.
In the track events, the squad of
Ben Wnuk,
Victor Cocchiaro,
Casimir Glaude and
Preston Klem won the distance medley relay with a time of 11.16.71.
Dary Pichardo made his indoor track debut in the 60 meter dash by running to the line at 7.64 to earn 54th. He additionally competed in the 200 meter dash, stopping the clock at 26.31 to receive 49th.
The Monarchs ended the day by finishing ninth out of 18 teams in the 4x400, as the group of
Evan Galavage,
Ryan Baxter, Glaude and Klem ran a time of 3:43.97.
The Men's Track and Field team returns to action next Saturday, where they will compete in the Hounds Classic hosted by Moravian University at the Rauch Fieldhouse
