BETHLEHEM, PA (January 24, 2026) — The King's College men's indoor track and field team turned in a strong showing at the Hounds Classic on Saturday, hosted by Moravian University. The Monarchs delivered solid performances throughout the meet, highlighted by multiple personal bests and season-best marks across both track and field events.
In the track events,
Owen Foytack highlighted the Monarchs in the 800-meter run, claiming first in the event with a time of 1:59.98.
Ryan Baxter trailed by four seconds, taking ninth at 2:03.88.
The 4x4000 meter distance medley team of Foytack,
Casimir Glaude,
Preston Klem and
Ben Wnuk earned fourth in the event after crossing the finish line at 1:47.96.
John Gillespie,
Victor Cocchiaro, Jarrett Hoch and
Vinny Fazzino ran the 4x4000 distance medley to the tune of 12:32.21 and 10
th in the event.
The team of Glaude, Wnuk, Foytack and Klem also competed in the 4x400 relay, receiving seventh place after their time of 3:37.07. Cocchiaro, Gillespie, and Hoch competed with
Josh Malone in the event as well, earning 17
th place at 3:53.99.
First year
Evan Galavage led the King's contingent in the 60 meter prelims, crossing the line in 35
th place with a time of 7.56 seconds. Sophomore
Jordan Jones was close behind, finishing 40
th at 7.62, while fellow freshman
Dary Pichardo came in 41
st with a time of 7.66. Rounding out the Monarchs' efforts,
Nathan Patla placed 48
th, stopping the clock at 7.88 seconds.
In the 200-meter dash, freshman Galavage recorded King's top finish, placing 33rd with a time of 24.51 seconds. Sophomore
Kival Clarke followed with a 35th-place finish at 24.78, while freshman Pichardo turned in a personal-best performance, clocking a 25.14 to place 40th. Patla closed out the Monarchs' times with a 44th-place finish in 25.99 seconds.
In the 1-mile run, freshman
Noah Kolinovsky placed 28th, posting a personal best time of 5:43.87.
Sophomore
Joseph Rossi recorded a 17th-place finish, crossing the line in 9:59.52 in the 3000 meter run.
Clarke also led King's in the field events, taking fifth place in the triple jump after a mark of 13.36 meters, good for a season best.
In the men's high jump, sophomore
Philliph Oden led the Monarchs with a 15th-place finish, clearing 1.68 meters for a personal record.
Josh Malone followed close behind, placing 16th after clearing 1.63 meters.
Sophomore
Jordan Jones led King's in the men's long jump, placing 15th with a season-best mark of 6.27 meters. Oden followed in 25th, also posting a season-best jump at 5.90 meters, while Malone finished 28th with a leap of 5.56 meters.
Freshman
Noah Nelson-Carroll posted a personal-best clearance of 3.20 meters in the men's pole vault, earning an 18th-place finish.
Josh Malone followed one spot behind in 19th, also setting a personal record with a height of 3.05 meters.
King's saw solid efforts in the men's shot put, led by sophomore
Daniel Mattey, who reached 11.38 meters for 24th place.
Joey Schneider added 10.85 meters to finish 29th, and
Brady Rutkoski set a season-best of 10.60 meters, placing 32nd. Senior
Jev Brauer recorded 9.21 meters for 39
th place.
The Monarchs posted strong marks in the men's weight throw, with sophomore
Brady Rutkoski leading the way. Rutkoski set a personal-best of 11.85 meters to finish 17th, while Schneider also set a personal record at 11.67 meters, placing 22nd.
The Monarchs return to the track on Saturday, January 31
st as they head to Rochester, NY for the Nazareth Conference Challenge Cup, kicking off at 10:00 a.m.
